Apple Computer Inc. has acknowledged there is a video problem with its Intel- based iMac computers, which results in failure to show some images completely. The problem was first exposed at a forum of Apple. Apple said it is now investigating the problems.
It is said the problem worsens when Front Row, Apple's media control software is started. Users of iMac complain that white lines will appear on screen when playing videos using Front Row. The phenomenon sometimes occurs when iMovie or iCal is used.
A representative of Apple said the company is investigating the issue. If users have any technical issues, they can contact AppleCare. Intel- based iMac was launched at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco last Month.
Some people in IT industry said it is unnecessary to call back iMac, for the problem can be fixed with software patches.
