font size

The State Council, China's cabinet, Monday promulgated a regulation on the administration of entertainment places, stipulating to ban any pirated products for commercial use in these places.

According to the regulation, audio and video products and electronic games used in the entertainment places must be legally published, produced or imported.

"In addition, all these products should not contain any of the contents that harm national security and incite hatred towards other nationalities," says the regulation which will be enforced from March 1.

The regulation also bans operating electronic game facilities possessing gamble functions in the entertainment places.
