The foreign direct investment flow to Indonesia rocketed by 988.1 percent to 1.31 billion U.S. dollars in January against 120 million dollars in the same month last year, according to government data released Tuesday.
Over the same period, materialized domestic investment also soared by 230.8 percent to the equivalent of some 260 million dollars, reported the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
The materialized investment in the country totaled 1.57 billion dollars last month, it said.
