Qinghai-Tibet Railway to open to freight trains in March

A locomotive drew out of the Lhasa railway station on Feb.16. On the same day, the Lhasa construction headquarters of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway announced that the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is scheduled to open to freight trains in March and to test whole-line operation from July 1.

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway constructors are now working all out on the front line to ensure the early operation of the railway.
