China will have to do without two key offensive players in their first 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualifier on February 22 against lowly Palestine for suspensions, said the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) official website on Friday.
Playmaker Zheng Zhi, who has been punished with a three-match ban by the AFC, will not be eligible to play against Palestine and also against Iraq (March 1) and Singapore (August 16). And young hitman Zhu Ting, who showed some glittering performance at the FIFA World Youth Championship 2005, would also be absent from coach Zhu Guanghu's choice against Palestine for suspension.
China are taking a training camp under the guidance of Zhu Guanghu at the warm southern city Guangzhou to get full preparation for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. They lost to Honduras 1-0 at a warm-up friendly on February 12.
