Honda Motor Corp. in China and China's Great Wall Motor Company witnessed their auto export volume exceed 100 million U.S. dollars in 2005, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products said on Friday.
In 2005, a total of 1,009 Chinese enterprises had auto export records in Chinese customs, up 43.1 percent year on year.
Besides the above two companies, another eight auto companies saw their export volume exceed 30 million U.S. dollars, including the renowned China FAW Group Corporation, the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and the Chery Auto Company.
China is exporting more cars to the world market as its production capacity increases and technological level rises.
Due to its comparative advantages in cost, Chinese-made cars will probably have a larger international market share in the future, so its domestic industry should pay more attention to the regulation of export order so as to avoid possible trade disputes, insiders said.
