Russia and Iran ended their negotiations on uranium enrichment in Moscow on Wednesday without any breakthrough, Russian news agencies reported.
"The Iranian delegation will fly home on Thursday. No critical progress has so far been made at the Russia-Iran consultations," a Russian Security Council official said, quoted by the Itar-Tass news agency.
Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani was quoted by Interfax as saying that Iran does not intend to give up the right to enrich uranium by itself even if a deal is reached with Russia on a joint venture for uranium enrichment.
