Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were sharing lead along with two other players on Friday at the Ford Championship at Doral, Miami.
Woods shot a relatively lackluster 67 while Mickelson carded 66, and their 13-under-par 131 halfway total later was matched by Scott Verplank (65) and Colombia's Camilo Villegas (66), with major championship winners David Toms, Rich Beem and surging Mark Wilson one shot behind.
South Africa's Ernie Els had a fine 65 that nonetheless left him seven shots adrift.
