Four Palestinians including two militants of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War) were killed in an Israeli airstrike in eastern Gaza City on Monday, Palestinian medics and witnesses said.
Witnesses said that an unmanned Israeli army drone fired one missile at a Palestinian car that drove in the Shejaya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, killing two militants aboard and two passengers. Six Palestinian civilians were also wounded in the strike.
The missile attack led to a huge explosion, said the witnesses, adding that a white car was charred.
Meanwhile, Palestinian medics at the Shiffa Hospital said that two militants, who were members of the Saraya al-Quds, Jihad's armed wing, were killed, adding that two bystanders, a 15-year-old teenager and a 10-year-old boy, were also killed.
Earlier in the day, two Palestinian children were killed in an explosion in the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
Witnesses said that the two children found a homemade roadside bomb and were trying to pull it out when it exploded.
