Russian aircraft to stunt-fly in central-south China's tourism place
font size

A stunt flying team from the Russian Air Force will conduct air shows in Zhangjiajie, one of the most scenic tourist sites in central-south China's Hunan Province.

The air shows are comprised of three parts -- stunt flying, mid-air refueling, and flying through the Tianmen (Skygate) Cave.

Russian sports aircraft and fighter planes will take part in the stunt flying, while an Il-78 tanker will perform mid-air fueling.

The Russian team is the only in the world to use heavy-weight fighter like Su-27 and Su-30 in stunt flying performances. They will pass through the cave at a speed of 750 kilometers per hour.
