El Nacional heads to Paraguay for Libertadores meet

Ecuadorian soccer club El Nacional left for Paraguay on Monday to get ready for Wednesday's Libertadores Cup group eight match with Libertad of Paraguay, locla media said on Monday.

El Nacional, coached by Paraguayan Ever Hugo Almedia, is trying to break a winless run in the tournament. Nacional tied 1-1 at home with Brazil's Sao Paolo, and lost 3-4 to River Plate in Buenos Aires.

They're the leaders of the domestic league, however, defeating tail-enders Deportivo Cuenca 4-1 in its last league match, though resting the bulk of its players ahead of Wednesday's Libertadores match.
