font size

Canadian Foreign Ministry confirmed Friday that an envoy in its Vienna embassy was missing.

Spokesperson Rodney Moore said the department is aware that one of their employees has been reported missing, adding that "authorities are making every effort to locate this individual."

Lewis Brooks Miskell, the attache at Canada's embassy in Vienna, has been missing for nearly three weeks, reports from Italy said.

Italian police have arrested a man who was found with credit cards belonging to the missing Canadian envoy, Italian newspapers reported Friday.
