China, Australia sign agreements on cooperation in nuclear energy

China and Australia on Monday signed an agreement for cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

The two sides also inked an agreement on the transfer of nuclear material.

Visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his Australian counterpart John Howard were present at the signing ceremony.
