A moderate earthquake on Tuesday jolted the Pakistani capital Islamabad, Muzafarabad, the capital of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir and northern parts of the country, metrological department said.
The tremors began at 2:12 p.m. and lasted for a few seconds.
According to metrological office, its intensity on Richter scale was 5.2 which epicenter was in Hazara, some 200 km away from Peshawar.
No loss of life and property was reported.
The office said that it was one of the aftershocks of devastating earthquake of October 8.
