The launch of "Kowsar" is the Islamic Republic's fourth successful test-firing of new models of weapons during the week- long war game in the Gulf which started on March 31 and will last till April 6.

The ongoing military maneuver involved over 17,000 soldiers and 1,500 naval vessels of various types and sizes.

Iran has test-fired a radar-dodging and multi-targeting missile, an underwater high-speed missile and a powerful torpedo in the previous days of the war game.
