A total of 11 members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were arrested in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul on Friday, semi-official Anatolia News Agency reported.
Turkish police nabbed the 11 PKK members when they were preparing to stage a bomb attack in the city, said the report.
Police also seized 7.8 kg of A-4 explosives and bomb equipment in places where the PKK members sheltered in Istanbul, said Anatolia.
Last week in Istanbul, one person was killed and 14 others were injured in a bomb attack staged by a branch of the PKK calling themselves the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons.
Kurdish militants from the PKK launched an armed campaign against Turkish government in 1984, fighting for autonomy in the Kurdish-dominated southeastern Turkey.
More than 37,000 people, mostly Kurds, have been killed in the violence in the region.
