Experts from the "Program on the Study and Building of Marxist Theory" chatted with netizens Friday, to discuss ways to study and implement the Scientific Concept of Development as put forward by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee with Hu Jintao as the general secretary.

During the discussing, the experts said that the Scientific Concept of Development has inherited, enriched and developed Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and the important thought of the "Three Represents", which says that the CPC has always represented the most advanced culture and productivity as well as the most fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people.

The forum was hosted by People.Com.Cn, the website of the People's Daily, the newspaper of the CPC Central Committee. The "Program on the Study and Building of Marxist Theory" was launched two years ago by the central leadership to promote theoretical study of CPC's guiding ideology.

Over the past two years, remarkable achievements have been made in the study of Marxist Theory and composing of relevant textbooks, according to the experts.
