French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy condemned Friday the "unacceptable remarks" of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the Holocaust and the state of Israel.
"As I have had occasion to do before, when the Iranian president made similar statements, I condemn these unacceptable remarks in the strongest possible terms. Israel's right to exist and the reality of the Holocaust should not be disputed," Douste- Blazy said in a statement.
Ahmadinejad on Friday launched a violent verbal attack at Israel and the United States at an international conference to show support to the Palestinians, saying that the Jewish state was a "permanent threat" and "on the road to being eliminated".
