font size

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is scheduled to pay a three-day visit to Ethiopia very soon, the Japanese embassy said Wednesday.

The embassy said in a press release that Koizumi will visit Ethiopia from April 29 to May 1.

Japan is one of the top development partners of Ethiopia, said the press release.

One of the large-scale projects implemented through Japan's support in Ethiopia is the first-phase Addis Ababa-Goja Tsion highway rehabilitation project.

The second-phase, Goha Tsion-Dejen, which include a big bridge across the Abbay river, gets underway, it added.
