To avoid over dependence on revenues from online ads, the search engine company Google Inc released a search software specifically designed for companies and their employees.

The software is an upgraded version of its search software for big companies launched four years ago.

The upgraded version of company search engine is capable of performing in-depth data search, and it will display information the user needs in a window atop the screen. To develop the software, Goolge collaborated with many leading business software companies like Oracle and Cisco.

Google is making slow progress in business software. Last year, the revenues generated from software were less than $75 million, an extremely small portion of its $6.1 billion gross revenue. At present, revenues from ads account for 99 percent of the company's gross revenues.
