The Fujian Technology & Projects Fair which is slated on June 18 this year has collected more than 450 projects from more than 10 European and American countries so far with 301 items from Russia, according to the Fujian provincial department of personnel.
The trade fair garners the Russian projects to contribute to the Russian Year in China to strengthen the Sino-Russia friendship and promote the communication and cooperation between east China's Fujian province and Russia.
Those Russian projects have quite high technology level. As a technology giant in the world, Russia possesses advanced science and technologies, plenteous intellectual resources and many technology projects that urgently need transforming and matching. Eighteen Russian scientists have been awarded the Noble Prize and Russia holds 57 of the 102 world top technologies, including 27 most advanced internationally.
All the Russian projects the fair have received are technological innovations, among which most have registered Russian patents and some have been patented in several countries such as the US, Germany, UK, France and Japan. The projects represent the world advanced or leading technologies.
Meanwhile, these projects gear to the blueprint of the local development for a saving-oriented community and cyclic economy, as well as the development of the local industries. Moreover, the projects which cover a wide range of areas are practical and economical.
The successful matching of these projects will greatly promote Fujian's innovation in technology and new products development in various industries and uplift the industrial competitive power.
