Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak condemned the three bomb blasts in the Red Sea resort of Dahab in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on Monday evening as "terrorist act" and vowed to bring perpetrators to justice, according to Egypt's official MENA news agency.

"The perpetrators of these heinous acts of terrorism will be tracked down and punished," Mubarak said.

In a phone call to Mubarak, Israeli Prime Minister-designate Ehud Olmert condemned the terrorist attacks in Dahab and conveyed his condolences to the victims of the attacks.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Hamas-led government condemned the Dahab blasts.

Abbas, who is on a visit to Turkey, condemned the "criminal attacks aimed at damaging peace and settlement in Egypt and in the entire region," an official in Abbas' office said.

"We condemn this awful crime that targeted innocent tourists and Egyptian citizens," spokesman for the Hamas-led cabinet Ghazi Hamad said in a written statement, adding the attacks was aimed at shaking the Egyptian national security and ignored all principles of human rights conventions.

The Palestinian government sent its deep grief and condolences to the Egyptian government and its people as well as the families of the victims.

U.S. President George W. Bush also condemned the Dahab blasts.

"Today we saw again that the terrorists are willing to try to define the world the way they want to see it," Bush said in Las Vegas, Nevada.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts which left at least 30 people dead and more than 150 others wounded.
