Uganda is to host Kenya between May 27 and June 5 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in a grudge series after the rivaling neighbors beat Uganda by 161 runs last year in Kampala.
Semi professional Kenneth Kamyuka, Uganda's leading all rounder, has expressed the fullest confidence that the national team can overcome high riding Kenya if they perform to their capabilities.
Uganda, who managed only 1 win (by 5 wickets) against Namibia and 3 losses (two to Kenya and one to Namibia) in the African pool before being scrapped off the Inter Continental Championship (ICC), have been prevailed another chance by ICC's High Performance Program to avenge their defeat.
The tour itinerary comprises of 3 one-day games on May 27, 28 and 30 and a 4-day game starting on June 2. Kamyuka, who returned recently from South Africa after helping Lenasia C.C to the second and fifth place finishes in the one-day and 2-day league respectively, believes Uganda can silence Kenya this time.
