The report by Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the UN Security Council "is not crucial in the solution of the Iranian nuclear problem," Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.

"The procedure of presenting the report and its consideration is not an ultimatum, it's a work-in-progress and has no time frame," Lavrov was quoted by the Itar-Tass news agency as saying.

"The report will be presented and put on the UN Security Council's website and the site of the IAEA board of governors, the minister said, adding that the "IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei will meet later with the IAEA board of governors to answer their questions."

"We, too, will read this report and see what opinions the IAEA will give." Lavrov said.

The Iranian nuclear problem will become the main theme of the consultations which will begin in Paris on Tuesday. Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak said "they will be a follow-up of the talk over the report by the IAEA director general."

Kislyak will represent Russia at the Paris meeting, to be attended by his colleagues from France, Great Britain, Germany, China and the United States. The first round of the six-nation consultations over the Iranian nuclear problem on April 19 in Moscow ended with no decisions.

According to Kislyak, "the parties will exchange views on coordinating further moves to resolve the situation around the Iranian nuclear program."
