Two U.S. soldiers were killed when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in Baghdad on Thursday, the U.S. military said.

"Two Multi-National Division - Baghdad soldiers were killed today at approximately 11:45 a.m. when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in south-central Baghdad," the military said in a statement.

Earlier, the military said another U.S. soldier of the same division died Wednesday in non-combat incident.

The latest fatalities brought to 2,405 the number of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, according to media tally.
