Ecuador manager inspects team's World Cup host town

Ecuador's national soccer team manager, Luis Fernando Suarez, arrived on Thursday in Bad Kissingen, the German town that will host the team during the World Cup, local media reported.

Colombia native Suarez, accompanied by physical trainer Oswaldo Garcia, visited the team's hotel, the practise fields, and the main competition football pitches.

During his visit he will meet Karl Heinz Laudenbach, Bad Kissingen's mayor, who has promised to make all the city's stadium's available to the team.

The two officials will return to Ecuador on Monday and Tuesday, to report back to the nation's football selectors. That day, officials will also publish names of the final team, which will play the last pre-World Cup friendly games that Ecuador has booked in the United States and Spain.

This last list will be almost the same as the full team which will play Germnay, Poland and Costa Rica, in the World Cup's Group A matches.

It is Saurez's first World Cup and the Ecuador team's second.
