Two suicide bombs kill at least 11 in northern BaghdadTwo suicide car bombs rocked Baghdad 's northern district of Azamiyah on Sunday morning, killing a total of 11 people and wounding 34 others, a police source said. "A suicide bomber drove his explosives-packed vehicle near the building of the state-run al-Sabah newspaper in Azamiyah and blew it up, killing one person and wounding six others," the source said on condition of anonymity. He said a group of Iraqi soldiers were near the paper's building when the attack occurred. Separately, another suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden vehicle near a position of the Iraqi army close to the al-Dilal al- Arabiyah Square in Azamiyah neighborhood, killing 10 people and wounding 28 others, the source said. The two suicide car bomb attacks came as a powerful bombing attack hit Iraq's southern Shiite holy city of Karbala on Sunday, which killed at least 21 people and wounded dozens of others.
