An exhibition called "Dinosaurs! A T. rex named Sue and friends" is being held in the Singapore Science Center (SSC) to showcase the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil ever discovered in the world.
According to Channel NewsAsia report on Sunday, the skeleton, which is 13-meter long and 4-meter high, was unearthed in 1990 in the United States and named after its discoverer Sue Hendrickson.
Also exhibited is another 12.2-meter long Tyrannosaurus rex called Stan, which was bought by the SSC. It is said to be the second most complete Tyrannosaurus rex in the world.
Sue is 90 percent complete while Stan has about 35 percent of his bones missing.
The exhibition, which will last until August 20, also includes exhibits like "Dinosaurs of Darkness" from Australia's Monash Science Center, interactive displays, public lectures and symposiums.
Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to host the traveling exhibition of Sue, which was last displayed in the Field Museum in Chicago, United States.
The last time the SSC held an exhibition on dinosaurs was 10 years ago.
