A roadside bomb went off near a police patrol in western Baghdad on Saturday, killing an Iraqi policeman and wounding three others, an Interior Ministry source said.
"A makeshift bomb detonated at about 11:00 a.m. (0700 GMT) near a police patrol in Baghdad's Mansur neighborhood," the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The blast damaged a police vehicle, killing a policeman and wounding three others aboard, he added.
Insurgents frequently attack Iraq's fledgling security forces, accusing them of collaborating with the U.S.-led occupation forces.
