Valuable cultural relics excavated from ancient tomb
An archeologist takes photo for unearthed cultural relics in an ancient tomb at Chenpo Village of Xiangfan, a city in central China's Hubei province. Archeologists have almost completed the excavation of a small ancient tomb dating back to the Period of Warring States (475-221 B.C.) at Chenpo Village. More than a hundred valuable cultural relics like copper swords and jade articles were unearthed, from which the archeologists judged that the tomb owner should be a high-ranking noble of the Chu state.
