World's longest trans-sea bridge under construction

The majestic appearance of Hangzhou Bay Trans-sea Bridge. Till now, 65% of the Hangzhou Bay Trans-sea Bridge that was contracted to China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC) has been completed. The bridge will stride across Hangzhou Gulf and link the Haiyan County of Jiaxing and Cixi, a city of Ningbo. Both Jiaxing and Ningbo are in China's Zhejiang Province. The bridge, built with a total investment of 11.8 billion yuan, is 36 kilometers long, being the longest trans-sea bridge in the world. The bridge will shorten the distance from Ningbo to Shanghai by 120 kilometers.
