Maybe you will be thinking, among all the new-comers this year in the NBA, who is playing at the top level. Today I'll show you some big names that worth
noticing. Last Wednesday, we saw Deron Williams play against the Phoenix Suns, clearly one of the top rookies in the NBA. But besides him, who is the other top new-comers around the league. Clearly Chris Paul is going to be the rookie of the year. He's averaging 16 points and 8 assists, better than 2 steals per game, and he has the Hornets in play-off contention. So Paul I think is the runaway winner. But there are a few guys who are a little under the radar, who are having outstanding season of their own.
Danny Granger in Indiana
Since the Artest trade, Granger has slide right into that forward spot, and one of the reasons Artest was expendable is because the Pacers knew what they had in Granger, a versatile defender, he can cover multiple positions, he is a terrific player and a guy who is already helping Indiana.
Charlie Villanueva
How about Villanova, another versatile foreman, he can step away from the basket, knock down shot, he's 6-foot ten so he can guard on the post, and he's also quick enough to get out to the premitor.
Raymond Felton in Charlotte
Bobcats are having a tough season, but Felton has been terrific, playing both guard's spots, he can handle the ball and shoot, he's had some big scoring matches this year.
You are looking at a pretty solid rookie class, I think those guys are the ones to really look at as the top rookies in the NBA this season.
