Three Palestinians, including a militant faction leader, were killed in Gaza by Israeli airstrike Thursday night, Palestinian hospital sources and witnesses said.

They said that Jamal Abu Samhadana, a veteran of the Popular Resistance Committees militant group, was among the killed.

Two other people were killed and seven were wounded in a strike on a Popular Resistance Committees training camp, according to the sources.

Earlier huge explosions were heard in the Gaza Strip when Israeli aircraft fired missiles at the training camp.
