Hamas militants vow to resume attack on Israel
font size

Hamas' armed wing vowed on Friday to renew attacks on Israel in a move that would end a truce the militant group has observed since March last year.

Izeldein al-Qassam Brigades vowed retaliation for the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip which left 15 Palestinians dead in last 24 hours.

"The Zionist massacres represent a direct action to resume battle and this means that the earthquake in the Zionist cities would start again," the group said in a leaflet. "The Zionists have no choice but to prepare their shrouds or carry their luggage and leave."

Abu Obeida, spokesman of the group, told reporters that his group would resume attacks on Israel in response to the " escalating military actions against our innocent people."

"The Palestinian militants had no choice but to respond to the Zionist crimes because by carrying out such actions, the Zionists are putting our people in a position of self-defense," he added.
