Two brothers arrested in east London last week in a police raid were released late Friday without charge after they had been found of no wrongdoing, Sky TV reported.
Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, and his 20-year-old brother Abul Koyair, were arrested during an anti-terror raid after police received a tip-off on chemical bombing materials. One of them was shot in the shoulder during the operation.
"We appreciate the police operation has caused inconvenience and disruption to the occupants of the house," said a police spokesman, adding that appropriate arrangements will be made as regarding to the property and restoration work.
The incident has enraged the country's Muslim community. Earlier on Friday, some 100 Muslims took to the street for a protest, chanting slogans such as "Hands off the Muslims" and " Tony Blair terrorist".
