"Lake of the Heaven" attracts numerous followers and tourists

The Namucuo Lake along Qinghai-Tibet railway in Tibet has a Tibetan meaning of "Lake of the Heaven". The lake is located between Beidangxiong and Bange, two counties north of Tibet Autonomous Region. It has an area of 1,940 square kilometers with an altitude of 4,718 meters. It is the biggest interior lake. The Namucuo Lake is the holy land of Tibetan Buddhism that attracts multitudinous followers and the tourists every year. After the operation of Qinghai-Tibet railway, Namucuo Lake will welcome much more tourists. Several tourists go sightseeing around the Namucuo Lake.
