Head of Nepali guerrilla negotiating team and the spokesman, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, said Wednesday that they are ready to go ahead with other political parties and civil society for the establishment of full-fledged democracy in the country.

Speaking at an informal interaction program organized by members of the civil society and journalists here, Mahara said that the guerrilla was ready to merge the guerrilla's "People's Liberation Army" with the Nepali Army after the formation of a democratic republic.

"We are ready to merge our army and the Nepali army after the establishment of a democratic republic," Mahara said, adding, "We request everybody not to be suspicious."

Meanwhile, other members of the guerrilla talks team, Dinanath Sharma and Dev Gurung, said that an interim government containing the guerrilla, civil society members and political parties should be formed after the peace talks.
