The venue is located in the Jinshan exhibition city in Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province. Five exhibition halls will be used to the event, that is, the hall of A and D, Hall B, Hall C, Hall E and Hall F. The total area is 31,200 square meters.
In line with the national as well as the provincial 11th Five-year Plan program for the 2006-2010 period, the fair highlights independent innovation, the construction of thrifty society, the development of cyclic economy, the construction of new socialist countryside, the build-up of the Oceanic economy, the cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and the international feature.
It also demonstrates the successful experiences of the previous three fairs since 2003.
The exhibition space is divided into three parts for projects, technological demand and achievements.
Hall A & D is for research achievements with an area of 10,400 square meters. There are 17 pavilions to display projects from Chinese Academy of Sciences, overseas Chinese, Xi'an scientific research institutes, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, experts, academicians, research institutes and colleges out of Fujian Province, Fujian-based research institutes and colleges, Fujian, Taiwan, overseas institutions, overseas students and other foreign cities.
Hall E is for technology demand with an area of 5,200 square meters. It is divided into six zones for industries, agriculture, saving-oriented and recycling-based economy, information industry, woman' s demands and individual's innovations.
The industrial exhibition space in Hall E highlights the information-oriented industrialization, including four zones: advanced manufacturing, biomedical, technology development bases, and the local provincial corporate tech centers. The agricultural pavilion give space to agriculture, forestry, ocean and fishery, and agricultural industrialization, which combine to emphasize the construction of new socialist countryside. The thrifty and cyclic economy pavilion is composed of zones for enegy saving, water saving, materials saving, the recycling-based economy and comprehensive utilization of resources.
Hall C showcases success stories of the previous fairs with an area of 5,200 square meters. It offers display space to the cities of Fuzhou, Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Putian, Longyan, Sanming, Nanping, Ningde. There is also special space for the financial sector.
Hall B also covers 5,200 square meters, and it serves as the contract-signing zone and the exhibition zone of Fujian-based electronic information companies.
Hall C is the dining zone with an area of 5,200 square metres.
