New Trojan_Agent. BQ emerges in China

A type of new computer virus Trojan_Agent. BQ has been detected in China recently, the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center (NCVERC) said on Sunday.

This Trojan swindles money from computer users by maliciously hiding the data in their computers.

The BQ's malicious hiding data work is almost invisible. It first creates a false impression of data loss for users by maliciously hiding their data. Then, it asks users to send money to certain accounts in the name of restoring the data for them.

At present, the anti-virus software of Jiangmin, Rising, and Trend can find the Trojan and kill it. The users whose computers have been infected by this Trojan can restore their lost data manually.

Anti-virus professionals of Jiangmin have located a suspect named Junxi by tech-analysis, and they have reported the case to public security authorities.
