Finally, Jordan is back, he is back to the NBA, he is back to the place where his legends rest.
Michael Jordan, one of the NBA's all-time greats, became part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats in a deal that gives him a stake in most of owner Robert Johnson's ventures, making him second only to Johnson as the largest individual owner of the Bobcats.
Being one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, Jordan steered the Chicago Bulls to six NBA crowns, won five Most Valuable Player Awards and led the league with a record of 10 scoring titles. He also sets a history record of 30.1 points per game average, and ranks third on the all-time scoring list with 32,292 points.
After his retirement, Jordan assumed an ownership and team executive role with the Washington Wizards in 2000 before again, returning to the NBA court as a Wizard.
Now, the NBA legend is back as the part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. This is a very positive move for the Bobcats. Although someone might doubt
Jordan's loyalty to the club, due to his ups and downs with the Washington Wizards, it's unwise to not give Jordan the benefit of the doubt as he gives it another shot. With his worldwide fame and recognition, Jordan will add more respectability to the young Bobcats. He helps simply by being around.
