Bio-diesel produced in Guizhou
font size

The bio-diesel made by the first pilot producing line in southwest China's Guizhou Province has passed the test by national quality authorities and foreign auto giants, according to sources with the Provincial Commission of Development and Reform. It performs even better than No.Zero diesel in China in terms of key indicators and is up to the Europe II emission standard.

The biodiesel is made from small tungoiltrees which can be grown from barren land and spare farm land. In Guizhou, there are 4 million mu of such land suitable for the plant.

The first bio-diesel production line in Guizhou is supported by self-developed technologies and designed to have a capacity of 300 tons of bio-diesel annually.

The new type of fuel can be applied to all kinds of diesel engines. Recently Guizhou has signed an agreement with Germany to co-develop this fuel.
