The casualty in an Israeli air raid Wednesday evening was caused by a missile that missed its target, security sources told Xinhua.
Two Palestinian civilians were killed and 14 others wounded in the airstrike in southern Gaza Strip.
The source said that two missiles were fired at a car carrying a Palestinian militant linked to the Fatah movement, and one missile hit the street and another missed its target by 15-20 meters and hit a house nearby.
On Tuesday evening, three Palestinians children were killed and 11 others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a car north of Gaza City.
The airstrike came shortly after the Israeli Defense Ministry decided to carry out tough measures against Palestinian militant groups which fire homemade rockets at towns in southern Israel.
