The Hamas-led Palestinian government criticized on Thursday the United States and international community for ignoring Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
Yousef Rezqa, Information Minister in the Hamas-ld Palestinian cabinet, made the remarks to reporters after the latest Israeli airstrike killed two Palestinians in southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
"We feel the absence of international conscience, especially the United States that didn't say any single word in condemnation to the Israeli massacres in Gaza Strip," Rezqa told the press.
A pregnant woman and her brother were killed and 13 members of the family injured when an Israeli missile hit their house on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, three children were killed and 13 bystanders injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car with three militants on board. The militants escaped the attack north of Gaza City.
Israel Air Force has recently stepped up air raids against the Palestinian militants who have launched rocket attacks on Israel.
Rezqa, meanwhile, called on Palestinian militant groups to stop rocket attacks against Israel in order to "save the blood of the children who became a target for Israeli planes."
