Ronaldo finally fired the shot, answering the critics with 2 goals in today's matchup against the Asian Champion.

A minute into first-half injury time, the old Samba king made his first goal with a header, and in the 81st the second with a right-footer, moving past Pele as Brazil's all-time leading World Cup scorer and equaling Gerd Muller's World Cup scoring record of 14.

After a sluggish World Cup start, the overweight Ronaldo is running into form. He worked really hard during the training session, and it is said that he has cut down 4.2 kg from the original weight of 170 lbs. As we all saw, he has made such a significant improvement both physically and technically. Although he is not in the best possible physical shape, little by little he is getting there. He will score more goals in his next show up, and we are sure he will be better as each game goes.

In the last World Cup, the phenomenal Ronaldo scored an amazing eight goals. No matter how many goals he will make this time, he has already tied the World Cup record of 14 goals and continues to excel. Let's hail the return of a record-breaker Ronaldo!
