Dutchman Pim Verbeek was named new coach of South Korea's soccer team on Monday.
Verbeek, who was the assistant coach of South Korean squad, takes over from compatriot Dick Advocaat who stepped down after South Korea were eliminated from the World Cup in Germany on Friday.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Russia's Zenit St Petersburg might sign Advocaat as their coach after the World Cup.
