Thai Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon has affirmed that Thailand's foreign policy would be unaffected despite the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) recommendation to the Constitution Court to dissolve the ruling Thai-Rak-Thai Party (TRT), the Thai News Agency reported Wednesday.

Thai foreign policy and economic growth remain positive, he said and will continue unchanged by uncertainties on the political landscape.

He said the kingdom's foreign policy would be implemented as usual.

So far, Kantathi said, no embassies had requested explanations regarding what had happened in the Thai political arena.

The Office of the Attorney General decided on Tuesday to submit a case to the Constitution Court, saying that five parties, including the Thai Rak Thai Party and the Democrat Party, committed election fraud, and asking the court to the dissolve the parties.
