Bangladeshi Argentinean supporter dies after World Cup defeat

A Bangladeshi supporter of Argentinean soccer team died of heart attack at the defeat of his favourite team in the World Cup match Friday night in Noakhali, 130 kms south-east of capital Dhaka, private news agency UNB reported Saturday.

Mohammad Jahangir Alam, 38, of Nateshwar village, watched the match on TV, was upset at the defeat of Argentina and fell ill. He was rushed to a local clinic where the doctors declared him dead.

Scores of Argentinean fans visited the house of Jahangir to pay the last respect of him.
