font size

Israel launched an air raid on targets in Gaza City early on Monday, witnesses said.

The air raid was the latest move of the ongoing military actions aimed at rescuing an abducted Israeli soldier.

Witnesses said that one rocket was fired at an office belonging to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

No injury was reported.

Security sources said that an Israeli helicopter fired a second rocket at a training camp in northern Gaza Strip. No injury was reported.

On Sunday night, three Hamas militants were killed in a gun battle with Israeli forces near Gaza Airport east of the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah.
