Twenty-three people, including 20 foreign tourists, were injured on Saturday when a tourist bus collided with a truck in east Egypt, official MENA news agency reported.
Of the 20 injured tourists, 12 were from Sweden, seven from Denmark while the other one from the United States.
The other three sustaining injuries were the bus and truck drivers and a tour guide.
All those injured were rushed to a hospital in Hurghada, some 400 km southeast of Cairo, said MENA, without giving more details.
The road accident occurred on the road linking Egypt's popular Red Sea resort of Hurghada to another resort Ras Gharib, some 100 km to the north.
The tourist bus was en route from Hurghada to Cairo when it collided with the truck and overturned on the Hurghada-Ras Gharib road. Over-speed was blamed for the accident, according to MENA.
