Israeli strikes killed two other Brazilian citizens in Lebanon, a man and a child, the Brazilian foreign ministry said Tuesday.

Eight-year-old Bassel Tormos died Tuesday in a strike in Tallousa, in the south of Lebanon, while he was on holidays with his family in a relative's house. His mother and brother were also injured in the attack. The family lived in Foz do Iguacu, a town in the south of Brazil.

Bomb splinters also killed Brazilian businessman Rodrigo Aiman, 34, on Monday evening.

The ministry stated that the government received the news with deep consternation. and Brazil increased its disapproval of the Israeli act.

It said Israel's disproportional military retaliation has caused the deaths of innocents and severely damaged the Lebanese infra-structure to long-term consequences for the civilian population. It added stated that Brazil supports diplomatic intervention in the conflict area, especially through the UN High Level Mission.

The number of Brazilian fatalities have raised to six since the beginning of the strikes in Lebanon.

On July 13, four people from a same family, a couple and two children, died in Srifa, another city in the south of the country. They also lived in Foz do Iguacu and were on holidays in Lebanon, when five missiles hit the building where they were staying.
